Contact forms

We collect first names and email addresses for our newsletter.  Our newsletter is used specifically to contact our subscribers and potential future customers with new material (recorded music, music videos, merchandise, or show dates).  The email addresses are also used in conjunction with Facebook Pixel for customized ads (re-targeting, building mirror audiences).  You can find Facebook’s privacy policy here.  Our newsletter is through Mailchimp and their privacy policy can be located here.  On each contact form we ask potential subscribers to positively opt-in.  We don’t use pre-ticked boxes or any other type of default consent.  We also use clear, plain language that is easy to understand.  We do take our subscribers and potential future customers’ data protection very seriously.  All subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.  If there are ever questions or concerns you can reach us anytime at

How long we retain your data

Email addresses and first names are the only data that we specifically control.  We retain those two items until you unsubscribe, or close that email address down.  Facebook would be our processor for marketing, so it would fall under their privacy policy for any information that is derived from the combination of your email and Facebook account.  You can read more about that here.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to unsubscribe at any time from our newsletter.  Upon doing so your name and email address will be removed immediately from our mailing list.  You also have the right to change your Facebook privacy setting at any time to limit what info Facebook collects on you for marketing purposes.  Once again, visit Facebook’s privacy policy to learn more about what options they offer.

Where we send your data

Any name and email address that has been consented to us currently resides in our Mailchimp account.  Please see the above Mailchimp privacy policy for how they handle storing data.  If we ever change to another third party, then you will be asked to subscribe again and to update your settings.  Which, you have the option to object to and you will be taken off of our mailing list at that time.  Any info that we get from Facebook Pixel is used specifically for marketing.  We aim to better suit the needs of our potential fans and customers. and to NOT spam them with information that they are not interested in.

How we protect your data

We go through highly trusted third party sources.  We stay up to date with the most recent happenings within those companies and how they will use any information that we would supply them, such as an email address.  Our own website is SSL certified and is protected by multiple layers of defense.  We always do our upmost to protect any info that may pass through our website.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We never store data on our website.  We are SSL certified as to protect from hackers, or anyone that might try to harm our website visitors or subscribers.  We stay up to date with all happenings amongst the third parties

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

When subscribers sign up for our newsletter they have the option to tick two distinct boxes.  One is for email communication and the other is for customized marketing.  If only one of the two is ticked, then they are segmented into that distinct list and they will receive only that type of marketing or communication from us.  If both are ticked, then they will receive email and customized marketing within Facebook.
